About Digital Portrait Sessions

A digital portrait session with Steve Stober is the perfect choice when display prints are not required.

The session lasts about one hour and over 50 shots are taken which are then immediately transferred onto CD for you to take home. This type of session is suitable when actual prints are not required for display purposes but you would instead prefer to share your photos with friends and family on the Internet. You have an option with a digital session to order a custom-made book of your photos as well.

Digital sessions are also suitable for business portraits, when the photo(s) chosen will be used on the Internet or for publication purposes.

About Film-Based Portrait Sessions

A film-based portrait session with Steve Stober is the definitive choice when you would like to have genuine, hand-printed black and white portraits made as keepsakes. The session lasts about one hour and over 50 film shots are taken. You then review the work a week later from several contact sheets which are available for purchase. This type of session is suitable for those wishing to have genuine silver prints made as keepsakes for display or preservation. Transfer of film-based work to CD is not available with this option.

Steve Stober is one of the few remaining portraitists who continues to offer his clients black and white film-based sessions on which he has earned his long-standing reputation. Museum-quality, silver gelatin prints are now recognised as rare and extremely valuable for conservation purposes.
