Snowbirds: The Florida Series (1993)

In 1993, I travelled to South Florida to photograph “Snowbirds,” Canadians who vacation there sometimes for months, during the harsh Canadian winters. From Hollywood Beach where the Québeçois stayed to the Rascal House Jewish deli in Miami, I found exactly what I was looking for. This series exhibited in Toronto in 1998, during the biggest snowstorm the city has ever seen.
