Cuba is an island nation of many contradictions. Due to an umforgiving economic embargo imposed by the U.S.A. since the early 1960s, the country has suffered immeasurable economic hardship- yet it is the Cuban people who have risen to the occasion and continue to demonstrate a humanity unparalleled in the Western world.
I have visited the island many times over the years, and each time I go it brings me great joy to experience life on the island through the art, the music, the water and the people.
