About 20 years ago, I initiated the project of portraits of drummers. The project ended up with a book being published which was well received. At a recent gathering to celebrate the life of our teacher Muhtadi, who is in the later stages of Parkinson’s disease, I revisited the photo project with an update of drummer portraits.

A big thank you to all the drummers who agreed to pose for me. Drummers are amongst the nicest people in the world!
